Het is intussen uitgegroeid tot een vaste traditie. Ieder jaar wordt op 9 juni internationaal aandacht gevraagd voor het steeds belangrijker wordende thema ‘accreditatie’. In het vorige jaar werd er in Nederland door de RvA een symposium ter gelegenheid van de wereld accreditatie dag georganiseerd.

Sindsdien de twee organisaties ILAC (ILAC is de International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) en IAF (IAF is het International Accreditation Forum) in 2008 voor het eerst accreditatie in de schijnwerpers gezet hadden, werd er in ieder jaar een speciaal thema c.q. werkgebied centraal gesteld.

• Thema 2016: “A global tool to support Public Policy” “

Het thema van 2017 luidt: “Delivering Confidence in construction and the built environment” ofwel “het leveren van vertrouwen in constructie en de bouwbranche”.

De 10e Wereld Accreditatie Dag heeft dus als motto het leveren van vertrouwen in de bouw en de gebouwde omgeving. Dit jaar raakt het thema bedrijven uit heel veel sectoren. Wij, van 17020-consultants hebben alleen al in 9 branches (met * gemarkeerd) klanten in en rondom de bouw met betrekking tot hun accreditatie van advies gediend.

Of het nu bedrijven betreft, die op het terrein van NDT (Non destructive testing/niet-destructief onderzoek) of bij de asbest-eindcontrole, of bij de liftinspectie, of de bemonstering van water en onderzoek op legionella, etc. werkzaam zijn, zij vallen allemaal onder de 17020-inspectienorm en staan op 9 juni 2017 in de spotlight.
